Dichotomy Joe

Very short demo of a game made for Climax's 2026 Game Jam - in support of Mind Charity.

Given the theme: Dichotomy - we set out to play on the Jekyll & Hyde concept. Originally, we landed on combining Mario & Castlevania - but as the jam went on, we were having a bit too much fun and things got crazy.

In any case, we had a lot of fun working on it - and for all intents and purposes it is a game. 

Controls

* A Key / Left Arrow - Move left
* D Key / Right Arrow - Move Right
* W Key / Up Arrow / Space - Jump
* Left Click / F Key - To attack (only possible when in Underworld)

Note that for the Underworld portion of the game, the art assets here were generated by AI. Animated by one of our team members. 

The assets in the Overworld are either sourced from free-use sites, or hand-drawn.
